My latest poem, they just seem to keep on coming This ones for the Blackburn Rovers faithful 1995 Let me take you back in time, To 1995. In a little town in Lancashire, The people felt alive Because Blackburn Rovers won the league On the 14th of May that year It was a scene of celebration Of laughter and of cheer Flowers Berg and Graham Le Saux, Hendry and Tony Gale. Many teams tried to break them down, Most to no avail. In the middle we had Sherwood, And Super Atko too. Ripley and Wilcox on the wings, Who knew just what to do Chris Sutton and Alan Shearer, They simply were the best. But they were known to the faithful, By the initials SAS In the dug out we had a king, And Kenny was his name Last but not least there was Uncle Jack Who has every rovers fans acclaim
