My least favorite thing about quilting is cutting the pieces out! Every carpenter should be a quilter, measure twice cut once, In my case measure again and again and again. Today I cut out the 1 3/4 and 2 inch strips for a log cabin block, 10-12 different fabrics. I found it stressful. Thank goodness only one of these blocks for the Underground Railroad Quilt. Otherwise I would have used my accuquilt Go machine. I could mass produce quilts if they were already cut out as I use to sew commercially many years ago in an assembly atmosphere.
