My list is endless for those I want to Thank, however; I want this message to Only share my Appreciation for the Powerlifters that made my meet special! I must start off by simply saying, Thank You to All The Powerlifters that competed in The 2014 RPS Redemption Powerlifting Meet. I want you to know that Each of you made the entire experience so much more than the typical meet. Every lifter brought something hard to find in even one athlete, yet you could feel it in the warm up room, and you could see it on the platform, you all brought HEART, and it showed with every attempt. Thank you so much for your commitment to your training, for your support, and for your professionalism and enthusiasm that you showed each other through out the entire day. This meet was my way of showing the world of powerlifting my passion, my love for the lifters and their supporters, and my commitment to the sport of powerlifting and its future! Thank YOU so much for being the Biggest part of all this! From the bottom of My HEART, I want you to know, that I know, that without YOU, all my efforts would be for nothing! So I, humbly thank EVERY Lifter, Over & Over! The Ladies trained hard & it showed on the platform with Raw Totals that ranged from 500 pounded achieved by a youth at 11 years of age, Gabriella Veir, to a 775 pound Raw Total achieved by Kelly Worden-Walker showing Mommy & Crossfit Power. It was also a delight to see Emily Simpson lift, she introduced us to ladies lifting in gear at just 140 pounds, and she put up huge numbers with a 300 pound squat, 230 pound bench, & 265 pound deadlift with a 795 pound total! Thank You Ladies! You showed the world of powerlifting & strength sports that woman can be beautiful, strong and powerful! XOXOXO The Men Trained Hard too with Huge Totals, starting at 580 pounds, 765, 805, 930, 960, 990, 1045, 1055, 1065, 1105, 1170, 1200, 1225, 1315, 1345, 1405, 1425, 1430, 1435, 1480, 1495, 1515, 1590, 1600, 1605, 1665, 1675, 1685, 1780, 1815, 1880 RAW Modern BEST Lifter Total Lifted By Clint Smith with Team Samson, 1900 RAW Classic BEST Lifter Total Lifted By Jordan Wong with Animal, & ending with The Biggest Total of the day that came from the Best Geared Lifter, Jonathan Bryd with a total of 2450 pounds. Also, Thank You to my Bench Only Lifters for Putting Up Some BIG Benches, Jim Bailey 285, Erik Rodriguez 355, Timothy Reardon 400, Donny Daubert 460, & Dru Patrick 550! Once Again, Thank You Men! This was a Great Day of Powerlifting, New Lifters, Amateurs, Bench Only, Professional Geared Lifters, & Professional Raw Lifters all lifted together as one HUGE Powerlifting Family! YOU, the lifters did that, together we are bring the sport back to what it was meant to be, removing the gear verses raw mindless division, resulting in One AWESOME & UNFORGETTABLE Powerlifting Meet, Filled with Every Type of Powerlifter!
