My little girl Lucy Rose was born 9/11/11 at Burnley. I went in that day to be induced as my blood pressure kept spiking. Had my pessary after tea & hubby was sent home after being told it would be 24-48 hrs before anything started to happen. Soon after it became clear that baby wasnt happy & the next few hours were a blur that resulted in an emergency caesarean and ultimately a beautiful healthy girl. I know no names of the nurses and doctors but I am so grateful for them holding my hand and putting up with me shouting that they were killing me (!!) and making sure we had a healthy baby. We are expecting baby no. 2 in January and although we are hoping for a less traumatic time we are confident in the care we will receive xxx
