My love for Oyo town is so enormous that I get sad anytime things arent going well for this town. Last night I was with my people and they complain with the bitterness about the outright marginalisation of oyo town by all government that have occupied Agodi. They blamed it on many reasons one is that I misled them into voting Ajimobi. Many of them reteriate their love for APC but detests Ajimobis style of government which is sadly portraying the party they so love in bad light. Obviously they still perfer Apc but not its Oyo state constituents. Their griefs were born out of unemployment,bad roads, bad or non representations in all tiers of government,outright negelect of our public schools and disregard for the people of the town. I was successful in persudaing them not to loose hope and convinced them not to follow multitudes in blaming it all on one person. I made them realise that, these so called oyo elders are benefiting from the setbacks bequeathed oyo by their own fathers and the only way to keep us on their side is by blaming it all on the Alaafin. I was able to open their minds to the fact that we need to work on ourselves for the common good of this state. First, we should be decisive about what we want. Second, we should do away with voting prodigals or born again politicians. Third, no one deserve out votes on sympathy. Fourth, its time to start entering into contractual agreements with any aspiring politician. Fifth, We should do away with the derailing syndrome of family politics. Oyo a dara oo..
