My memory of 911.....I recall driving to work for the first time ever I turned my radio off because that Tuesday morning there was a sense of peace in the air sunny skies and warmth that touched my skin...........I remember wanting to enjoy this beautiful beautiful September day with the windows down and My hair blowing around because oddly it was different day for me then any other day in some strange way....then ten minutes b4 pulling in to work I turned z100 on to listen to the phone tap and all I heard was Elvis Duran saying a plane just hit the trade center building in NY I thought it was some kind of joke but then like 10 15 minutes later in that moment they said another plane just crashed into the second twin tower another in PA and another I was horrified.......... the radio became just as silent as the quiet morning was for me all I could remember was my eyes filling up with tears my body became numb my brain could not comprehend what had just happened.................I went into work devastated and as the day went on and the news became worse and the toll of deaths were being counted my heart bled from inside....................our nation was attacked .............and the other country danced and sang in the streets while burning our flag .............When I tell you I will never forget that day I mean I will never forget all those innocent people whose bodies melted or got crushed under those falling buildings I hope we all truly NEVER forget ..................
