My mentor and teacher, Kenneth S. Jaffrey, conducted 3,333 lectures during his tenure as head practitioner at the Hopewood Health Clinic. That’s about ten years of work – going out each night after work with an old Bell and Howell movie projector, a suitcase with plugs, extension cords and spare bulbs (just in case) and a pile of health magazines promoting the ‘Natural Lifestyle.’ I was always amazed at this dedication and I remember asking Mr. Jaffrey what on earth he talked about at all these events. His reply was in itself astounding – “Natural Living and Natural Healing - There’s not much else to talk about.” And so we say the same thing over and over – in different ways…how to live so that disease is not an option and…when your body needs to detox (because we don’t live in a state of perfection) then we advise on how to rest and conserve energy while the body heals itself.
