My message just IMd to ABC News: On This Week With George Stephanopolous today, his story on the assassination of two NYPD officers led off with a reporter. In her piece she stated words to the effect of called murder, although he was not provided a day in court. These are highly offensive words; she should be dismissed or at least kicked back to the minor leagues of reporting. A man shoots his girlfriend, announces his intent on social media, travel to another city, and shoots two officers. Not officers making an arrest, where the facts could be in question; two officers sitting in a patrol car, on perimeter duty of a training exercise. Words used by many in the media have been incendiary enough for the past several months; her words place her in defense of a murderer. I would enjoy finding ANY news source that would report factually, impartially, with intent to inform of details and permit the reader/listener to draw their own conclusions. Based upon this reporting, ABC is not it!
