My mind has been in Valentine gear here lately, with getting things ready for my booth at the mall, decorating at home a little and thinking of ideas for school Valentines box. Its really had me thinking, even more so after seeing American Sniper last night. If you want an EXTRAORDINARY love, you have to fight for it, chances are slim that its just going to happen! It took John and I several years to fight for it and a lot of tears and I can honestly say that I would not want to be anyplace else. I truly belive that I am with the person who that I, genuinely, truly, madly, deeply, passionately love like no other. John woke up this morning being all extra cuddly (he was all day), he had a dream I was with someone else (he didnt like how that dream made him feel). So, I am 99.9999% sure that he feels the same, I know this because of how he treats me. Yes, we may have taken a longer and bumpy road to get here, more than I wanted, and I think about the time that we wasted (what a waste, fighting is not worth it), but it sure is fun now trying to make up for lost time. That might mean changing your ways, doesnt mean you have to change who you are, just maybe give a tad bit more, compromise and do a bit more to show your love. Maybe youll have to lose an argument , because that would be better than losing him/her! That isnt a sign of weakness, its a sign of maturity. Cant always be a right fighter, its give and take. Just waiting around for your love life to change isnt enough. Every day your waiting your losing out on a day of EXTRAORDINARY! You may think that you have time, but that time passes by so quick, and were not getting any younger. You will have enough average things in your life..... take the steps to make the person youre with happy and feel special and important. Make them feel that no one else in the world could make you happier and I bet they wiill in return make you feel that way. Look past imperfections! To many people wait for their partner to make the first move, but dont! Even if you have a calloused heart from previous relationships, let it go and start fresh, its not your new lovers problem. What do you have to lose....better question is, what do you have to gain? Youre future is unwritten, so make sure you write it well!!!!
