My mom Karen really needs your prayers. She is a breast cancer survivor but has some uderlying conditions she has been dealing with since her initial battle. The chemo medicine gives about 2 percent of recipients congestive heart failure. She was affected this way. Heart is working lime 50 percent. On top of this she has an affliction called carcinoma. This causes lesions on her lungs and has also moved to her heart. It stiffens the tissue and affects the ability of these organs to work proper. She therefore retains water and the docs give meds to take water off. The meds eventually dry her kidneys out to much and it is tapered down or removed only to start the cycle all over. Also she has had vital numbers drop such as her potassium levels and others. Has been through a lot in the last several years including almost losing her to a backed up bowel exploding and getting sepsis from it. A miracle our God saved her then. She is strong in her faith and God knows this. She is the sweetest lady who would help anyone she could. Mom is pretty rough right now and the last 6 months have been especially tough on her body and spirit. Please pray and feel free to have your church members and friends do the same. Prayer is powerful and so is the human spirit. She needs lifted up right now more than ever so drop her a card or stop and visit as she is home for the time being. I am so worried. She consumes my thoughts in my idle times. Tears stream as I compose this as she has always been the most important pillar in my life. Has always lifted me up and supported my ideas or causes. I love her more than I can express and dont want to even imagine our world without her. Please Jesus guide her through her latest battle. Heal her heart heal her body. She has faith. Hold her up.
