My mom and me circa 1975, then 8 years after with my younger brother Yowi. 40 years came so fast, like a blink of an eye. Never did I realize that I myself have started my own home as well as Yowi. It was like we were able to withstand it all, but not without your guidance and help and love. Mama, for the musicians we are right now, we thank you very much. Despite your beloved guitar that I broke so clumsily, you still pursued on teaching me the ways of the strings (Yowi did not break any, which is why he is better than me, hehehe…) Mama, for the speech skills you have taught us, we thank you very much. Without it, we would never be the outspoken persons we are, as we dug our way into the corporate world. And most of all mama for the undying reminders, thank you very much, on asking if our backs our wet, and whether we already took our vitamins. Though irritating at times, we are assured of a mother’s love. We could not thank you enough for we know of the sacrifices you made, for the dedication and love you gave, being a single parent since my age of 12 and Yowi at the age of 6. Thank you very much Mama, and have a very Happy Birthday po. We love you, God bless!
