My mom introduced me to Vincent Van Gogh when I was very young. Each sibling was allowed to spend one-on-one time with her for 1 hr after bedtime on rotating nights. It was first through song (Don McLeans Starry Starry Night that we would sing together), then through pictures. I fell in love with his art. Today I was lucky enough to see his Repetitions exhibit at the Cleveland Museum of Art with her. I had to keep my hands in my pockets the whole time for fear I would not be able to help myself & touch one of his paintings. To be so close to them was amazing!
