My mom is struggling. She was moved to a nursing home tonight. Theres 1 RN for every 100 patients (not a typo), the nursing assistants are underpaid and stretched ridiculously thin, the food is a cliche-predictably awful. She wants to go home, but theres no one to care for her there. This is where my guilt reaches an apex: Im here, but she needs me there, although its much more complicated than that really. Oh, and I forgot the part where one of her nurses at the hospital was fired for extremely poor treatment of my moms care. Its been a sucky few days to say the least, in so many ways. Im sorry to whine, Im just mentally and emotionally done. Thank, thank you, a million times thank you for praying.
