My mother keeps saying that I resemble my father a lot, in every possible way. Well, it comes as a complaint at times or expression of happiness or appreciation at others. These days, when I look back and feel my childhood memories bubbling behind me, I see my father’s presence everywhere from accompanying me to and from school, to spending quality time with little me. Being a Rotarian himself and a teacher by profession, it has mostly been my father who instilled in me the realization of rendering service to the have-nots and also acted as my eye opener regarding different socio-economic and other burning issues worldwide. He was always there to encourage me to do co curricular activities besides studies. Even when maa was busy with her patients in icddrb, I used to find baba beside me to act as my guide, friend and philosopher. Still I see you doing the same for me and Atanu! So my dear baba and maa..thanks for everything you are doing for us..I know there have been hell lots of sacrifices and grudges..! Yeah, I promise I will be trying my best to make u feel happier n more satisfied..:) Love u very much baba….^_^
