My mother worked at a Chevrolet dealership for 20 years before transfered to a Ford dealership where she worked for many years and where she retired. The image is of a certificate she received in 1967 from General Motors (GM). I remember as a kid after school going to the Chevy dealership “or Chevy Garage as it was known” getting a bottle of pop for .10 cents and staring at those now classic Chevelles, Cameras, and they had a Corvette in the two car show room once. Mom was proud of her job. She retired making less than $10.per hour. She was also clerk of her church for over 25 years. As well, she played piano in church and with a gospel quartet. The family misses her very much.
