My movie review – Prisoners, stars Hugh Jackman, Jake Gyllenhaal, Viola Davis, Terrence Howard, and Paul Dano in this thriller/mystery. Two neighbors & friends are having Thanksgiving dinner together when their 6 yr. old daughters disappear. It is apparent they haven’t been kidnapped for ransom and the police are searching in mass to find the girls. Jackman’s character goes ballistic searching for his daughter and persecuting a mentally retarded man the police initially arrested as a person of interest. The search takes several twist and turns. Frankly, I had to read the plot on wikipedia.org to fill in my blanks. This movie is 2 hours 33 minutes long and every minute is interesting. The story is good, the actors excellent. I give it **** After the movie we went to Frankie’s Marcello’s on Perkins road across from Albertsons (where the old Calendar’s used to be) for dinner. Had an excellent dinner and desert big enough for 3 people came with one. I was surprised that 95% of the customers were people over age 50. It had a pleasant atmosphere, service & food were good. I give it ***
