My name is Alan Fulle. I have lived in the Seattle/Bellevue/Juanita areas my whole life, and moved to the Seward park neighborhood two years ago. My fiancé and I have since been fixing and remodeling our house - which was in need of much TLC! I work as both an artist and a carpenter and recently started my own company, Artful Carpentry. I have a BFA in art from the University of Washington, where I also studied film. Ive shown my artwork at the Traver Gallery (travergallery/gallery_artist_details/Alan-Fulle.aspx) for 14 years, and also have representation in Portland and Toronto galleries. I’ve had pieces displayed across the US & Europe and look forward to having a Tower sculpture at the Bellevue Art Museum at the end of the month. To make my way through school, I began to remodel houses. After I graduated, I went through the four year Journeyman’s apprenticeship with the carpentry union. As a Journeyman, I worked on multiple skyscrapers downtown. I wanted to get the word out that if any neighbors need work on their houses that I am ready to help. I excel at drywall/mudding and taping, can hang doors and windows, build or repair fences and decks, trim work, painting, insulation, bathroom and kitchen remodeling, and out of wall plumbing - you name it!
