My name is Ben Dodd, and I am the new marketing/graphic design associate, thanks to Elise Pace. Elise and I worked together for SOS Outreach as mentors serving at-risk youth. Elise is still in the valley, but has moved on to another marketing job. This post is asking for your support in raising money for Colorado Gives Day: SOS Outreach. As many of you may know, SOS Outreach is a nonprofit started here locally in Eagle County and is now nation wide. SOS has been a major pursuit and part of my life. Colorado Gives Day is approaching and takes place on December 9th. You can donate whenever you would like in the next 14 days, but if you donate on December 9th, every dollar will be matched by Colorado Gives (which means double the dollar amount) and will be given directly to the youth programs! I am trying to raise $1,500 for the nonprofit that I most believe in, a step up from my last years goal of $1,000. You can even put in your information now and set-up the time for your donation to drop on December 9th! The mission is real and true. The impact will forever change the lives of these at-risk youth. Our friendship is a product of how mentoring and these programs can positively effect not only the youth, but the mentors as well. We provide multiple (up to 12 years) of programming which includes: backpacking, rock climbing, skiing/snowboarding, fly fishing, camping, mentoring, core values, servicer learning, and the list goes on and on. Whats most important is that 90% of all donations and dollars throughout the year goes directly to the youth and its programs, but 100% of Colorado Gives donations will go directly to the youth and their programs.
