My name is Brooklyn and I came in as a stray back in Feb 2013 and I am still looking for a family!!! I was a little semi-feral who use to fear humans but now I love them! Even though I pretty much made a complete 180, it does not seem like anyone ever notices me.. I have been here ..waiting... for 20 long months now and not once has anyone ever came in asking for me or not even to look specifically at me. I am the longest resident here at the moment and after 20 months it gets discouraging! I sometimes greet people but other times I just stay where I am as chances are I wont be the one picked. I have seen so many cat friends come and go. I will sometimes act shy but if you give me just a few minutes to show me you care, I will be the biggest sweetheart! I am super cuddly when I know you and I love to roll around, act goofy and look distortedly cute so that you will pet me (you would be surprised at the uncomfortable positions I can pull off for attention but still look adorable)!! The only I ask is that my four paws stay on the ground.. I am not much for feeling like I am flying! Now Ive never asked for much but Ive asked Santa for a family this year. Now, I know its early, but Ive been a super good girl this year (I dont bully, I share my toys and bed, I get along great with all the other cats and I bring joy to the workers here). Maybe this year Ill spend the holidays with a family instead of gazing out the window at snow flakes at what could have been! P.S. I know Elves cant build real families but maybe if you help me spread the word around you can help us both! Also please note that if you do find me a family, can you ask them to be patient with me and ask them give me time to adjust to my new home :). If they are by my side, I can do anything !
