My name is Lori O’Maille. I’m 51 years old and a mom, grandmother and wife. As a woman, I fully know and understand how hard it is to take care of yourself. We always put our husbands, lovers, partners, children and grandchildren first. I used to be pretty healthy and was a 34 24 34. Not quite a brick house, but two inches away on the top and bottom….. In the early 2000s, I gained quite a bit of weight. As a result, I developed Type II Diabetes, High Cholesterol, High Blood Pressure, had migraines, stomach problems, etc. Throughout my entire life I have suffered with allergies and sinus infections. Those little Robin Blue Dimetapp pills were my best friend when I was growing up. I had two different protocols of allergy shots – one as a child and one in Louisiana as a military wife. I was allergic to everything in Louisiana that was outdoors. I even had a horrible skin rash on both lower legs and got my photo in the Louisiana Medical Journal at the VA Medical Center in Shreveport, LA…… Female problems were a regular part of my life. I had endometriosis for over 20 years. Six female surgeries later, I was done with it all by having the “Big H” – a hysterectomy which catapulted me into menopause. Since I was on synthetic hormone replacement therapy, I lost hair. My hair used to be thick and incredible…. Hot flashes oh my!!!!!!!! So, fast forward to the summer of 2013: I was introduced to It Works Global by a friend of mine who had just joined the company. I had never even tried the products and yet I signed myself, my husband and our daughter up as DTs. The business model just made sense to me because the products could be used by both men and women. I did not do much with the business at first as we moved to Florida a month later and I was still recovering from the death of my father and of our dear friend Billie. Throughout the next year, I started to drink the Greens daily. I noticed immediately that my sinuses and allergies were not as bad. You see, previous to drinking the greens in Florida, I thought I was going to have to go on five years of allergy shots. My body was not used to all the new plants in FL…. I went for the allergy test and tested negative for over 50 items. My allergist was floored and asked for the name of the website and the company that makes these “Greens”. The only thing that had changed in my daily routine was that I was drinking the Greens. The Greens contain 38 superfoods and just one serving is the equivalent to getting 8 servings of fruits and vegetables. I was finally giving my body what it so badly needed; nutrition on a cellular level. So how did my body respond? It started to balance itself out! My own natural healing systems started to thrive once again because I was feeding my cells with the nutrition that they needed to do what they were designed to do! This enabled me to stop taking Flonase, Singulair and Zyrtec on a daily basis. I have also been through four years of PT for my left shoulder. I had two surgeries on it and pain had become my “unfortunate best friend” for many years. After drinking the greens for a few months, I started to notice that the pain was not as bad. So I stopped taking one 500 mg of Naprosyn and then cut out both doses a few weeks later. Naprosyn was tearing up my stomach but as I continued on the greens, feeding my body this powerhouse of nutrition, I became more and more balanced. I no longer take 1000 MG of Naprosyn and have not renewed that prescription. I also suffered from causta congititis or severe heart burn. It was so bad. I was taking Nexium for that. As my body soaked up this balancing nutrition, I noticed that symptom was no longer there. So I stopped taking Nexium as well!!!! I was a frequent flyer with migraines. If you have ever had a migraine, you know it is not fun. The auras you see floating in the air are the worst visitors you can ever receive. They tell you something is coming that is not too fun!!!!! A neurologist prescribed Topamax, an anti-seizure medication for the prevention of migraines. For the most part, it worked. I was quickly realizing that when you give the body the food and nutrients that it needs, it will step up to the plate and heal itself every time! I noticed that my migraines never happened, and I just stopped taking the Topamax. So if you are counting, that is six medications that have been eliminated from my daily routine. Instead of taking synthetic prescriptions with a long list of side effects, I decided to “feed” my body with this amazing supplement called Greens. Along with a few dietary changes and a more conscience approach to what I am eating; my body is finally healing itself! Now I was taking the lowest dose of Premarin for hormone replacement therapy and still having hot flashes. Living in Florida did not help matters. I noticed that It Works has Estro Rhythm, an all natural plant based product to help your body naturally balance out menopausal and pre-menopausal hormone fluctuations. I started taking it and in less than one week, my hot flashes were completely gone. You see, all women who take Premarin have to sign a waiver stating they understand it can cause cancer. Since the lowest dosage of Premarin was not working for me, I certainly did not want to increase the dosage and increase my risk of getting cancer. My doctor looked at the ingredients in Estro Rhythm and he approved my replacing it for the Premarin. Man oh man, I wish I had known about Estro Rhythm a loooong time ago!!!! Now am I perfect and do I have the body that I want? No I do not. But life is a journey. We are all on a journey. I’m thrilled with the support that the Greens and Estro Rhythm have given my body and allowed me to do in a few short months.
