Taken from my family I looked out the back of the truck as I watched my house disappear. We were transferred to a big shed and I was stuffed into a wire cage with 6 other dogs. I felt like I was suffocating. I could hear many of the dogs crying with fear as we travelled through the night, the older dogs unable to cope with the stress and heat during the day. Many died as we drove towards the border – I could not help them. I awoke to the rattling of cages and the truck stopping abruptly. All the cages were taken off and we were released and put into a big truck and taken to a shelter in Buriram where I now live in a compound with 100s of dogs. The shelter has over 1500 dogs. We are the survivors. I am one of the friendliest four year old girls you will ever meet. I am so affectionate and I won’t let you stop patting me – we don’t get many visitors except the staff that feed us, but they don’t like to cuddle that much. I would love to get out of here and find my forever home. I get on well with other dogs and would be great for a family that want a truly loyal and loving dog.
