My name is Varee. I am a young, one year old girl who was brought to Soi Dog with a badly misshapen front leg. I was dragging the leg on the ground, completely unable to walk properly and in a lot of pain. When the vets took a look at my leg, they could see that I had a serious bone tumour. This had caused my leg to grow in such a deformed way I was no longer able to use it. It was already too late to save my leg and so the vets had no choice but to remove it. I am now learning to get around on my 3 good legs and I am so much happier now that I am no longer in pain. I am one of the lucky ones that could be helped by the Emergency Response Team. Without their monthly donations, Soi Dog cannot help suffering animals like me. If it were not for them, I would still have that bone tumour. It would have continued to grow and the pain would have been unbearable. Please help the other dogs that are still out there and suffering. No amount is too small; every bit helps.
