My name is Zephyr Teachout and Im running in the Democratic Primary for the Governor of the state of New York. The people of this state believe in public libraries and believe in public education and believe in public transportation, but so many politicians in Albany have given up. There are two futures for New York. One future is a state which is all CVS or Duane Reade and Bank of America -- really really centralized power where people dont have a voice. The other future is really responsive government, family farms, small businesses. Decentralized power. We have a choice on September 9th. New York can be even more New York than it has ever been if it wants to be.
