My nephew called me up and asked if i would come to his school because i am a vet. So after he said they will be putting on a show to show their application for veterans. I was honored to come. All the vets that came sat up front while 1st grade through 5th sang to us. After that 300 kids came up and either shook my hand gave me a high five, a fist bump or even a hug and said thank you. They drew some pictures and made small posters and cards for us aswell with cookies and juice afterwards. I must say it felt great and glad to see some schools still honoring and acknowledging veterans to kids still today. Thank you
