My new cheapo MP3 player/recorder has arrived, Ive been playing with the menu getting to know it, it has a free USB extender cable and a free set of headphones which arent bad. Ive tried recording a bit of the classical guitar with it led on the bed and yep, it may be cheap (and certainly looks it), but its recording quality is excellent, no background noise whatsoever except the odd click (possibly my bed springs as my weight shifted around slightly)... no annoying whine, no horrible hum, nice! The server PC system drive has just finished defragmenting and is all nice and neat again, so I think Im going to go for a walk now to get some photos in the daytime.
