My new essay: Inspecting the Nineteenth-century Literary Digital Archive: Omissions of Empire just published in the Journal of Victorian Culture. Thrilled to appear in the Digital Forum with Martha Nell Smith and Siobhan Senier. Abstract: This paper probes the politics of digitizing the literary nineteenth century.
