My niece, Alex Goddinard and her best friend Sam are currently living and working as volunteers at an orphanage in Malawi. With very little experience they have found themselves running the entire facility full time - managing the local staff, caring for the children, purchasing the supplies, working as administrators, and essentially all day to day operations. An immense job for two young girls getting a taste of the hardships in Africa. That being said, their dedication and hard work is showing dividends, especially with the children who lacked the basics which we all take for granted. This story of compassion is still playing out and I wish to support these two girls in any way I can. The centre needs more volunteers and funding. I am collecting items to send to Malawi but cost of shipping is high. If anyone can help ship donations please let me know. The orphanage is called Fatima Centre in Malawi Sean Lavin
