My number happens to be my lucky number 13. Im supposed to come up with 13 things you dont know about me, but I am pretty much an open book with no secrets, so this may be tough. 1) I truly regret not going to college. It would have been a waste of time when I was 19 because I was always drunk, but now I wish I would have gone. 2) I spend every minute of every day trying to be NOTHING like either one of my parents. 3) I have more pictures on my phone of my dog than my kids. 4) I show favoritism to my son over my daughter. I feel bad about this, but we get along so well. 5) I am becoming more and more liberal as I get older. I am still conservative when it comes to fiscal issues. 6) Even though I am an atheist, I STRONGLY believe in Christianity. I belief it is a book of life lessons that teaches us how to treat others. 7) I believe I have better Christian values than most people I know. Ironic, huh? This has mainly come about in the past couple of years. 8 ) I have not used the N word in about 5 years. I used to use it without even thinking about it. Now, the word makes my skin crawl. There was not a life changing event that made this happen. It just started bothering me all of the sudden. 9) When I was in 1st grade thru 4th grade at Hill Elementary, there was a VERY special needs girl in my class named Sandra Middleton. We were not nice to her. I think about Sandra at least a few times a week. I would love to know what ever happened to her and be able to apologize to her for treating her different. 10) When my mom passed away, she was not a very likeable person. I thought it would be easy when she went. I was wrong. 11) When my dad goes, I wont care. 12) If I had to pick 1 thing that was my favorite thing to do in the whole world, it would be coaching my sons baseball team. I am really going to miss it in another year. 13) Most people think my favorite day of the year is opening day of Ranger season. NOPE. Its the day that we take toys and coats to the Ft. Worth projects right before Christmas. This will be my 11th year in a row. FYI....it is coming up on December 7th. More info to follow. Not that hard after all.
