My observation here is the difference between the gas price and the kerosene price. Is there a legitimate reason for this? My opinion is that the kerosene price is held up by the government program which gives vouchers for kerosene for home heat. The vouchers dont cost for those who get them so they dont complain. I have two problems with this. One, it costs excessively for the tax payers who foot the bill. Two, it costs excessively for those who dont get the vouchers and have to pay the artificially supported price. Pretty much anything the government gets involved with, regardless of good intentions, gets ruined and costs those who work unbelievably.
