My oncologist wants to see me tomorrow morning. It appears something concerning was detected by my recent PET scan. I dont know anything more than that at this time. PET scans pick up cancerous cells so, I assume thats exactly what happened. At any rate he wouldnt want to talk to me if there was nothing to talk about. Best case scenario is we caught it early in a non vital area, and of a type that is easily treated and beaten. I dont mind surgery, chemo or whatever is needed. I dont mind a good fight. I dont mind to suffer. I would hate to lose to cancer, however. I refuse to be negative about this! As far as Im concerned I will fight and I will win. Realistically I know the more times one fights cancer the less the chance of survival. And with my situation cancer is always in play. For now Im planning a good night sleep and an enjoyable predawn run in the morning! Prayers are much appreciated!
