My one a day Bible lesson to myself: Day 108 Matthew C 25 Verse 13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh There is much on the news , tv and the internet these days about Black Friday and closing the store on Thanksgiving and the upcoming sales for Christmas Advertising everywhere for your attention and your money. Be the first in line get it while you can. And people are preparing for this very thing and they do it every year. Well Jesus doesnt HImself place ads in news papers or on tv or on the internet, but he has commissioned you and I that are saved to tell the story of His second coming. He gave us His Word to spread to all the World. Here are some examples of what He has ask us to spread. Matthew C 19 V 14 Jesus said Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me, for of such is the kingdom of heaven John C 10 V 9 Jesus said I am the door; by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in, and out, and find pasture Matthew C 11 Verse 28 Jesus said Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest Matthew C 6 Verse 19 Jesus said Lay not up for yourself treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal Verse 33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you And in John C 14 V 29 Jesus told the Disciples (concerning His coming death) And now I have told you before it come to pass, that when it is come to pass, ye might believe He foretold so that they would prepare. He has ask us to spread His Word today so that we may prepare for His second coming. As the merchants spread the word about their sales, We who are saved should be spreading the Word and preparing for His Certain Coming. Amen ! Pray for each other, our country and for those who serve to keep it free.
