My person of the day is the newspaper delivery guy (no one else was awake). Your paper is delivered between 5-6 AM by a person who drives at high speeds down the middle of the road or on the wrong side of the road. (I have learned not to stand near a driveway if they are coming past) She/he has their hazard lights on. I have come to know these guys because I am the only one out at this time. There is a woman who drives an SUV and she amazingly throws the paper over the front of the hood into the driveway. I was amazed at her accuracy. I would have had twenty newspapers sitting on my hood. But my favorite is a young man (probably in his twenties). He smiles and waves at me. He was missing a headlight the last time I saw him. I asked him if he realized. He said that he hit a deer and didnt have the money to replace it. I looked closer and sure enough the front of his car was pretty badly bashed in. I asked him if he was ok. He said yes but he was going to have to explain it to his Mom and ask her for money. I was pretty sure he was avoiding telling her, he is waiting for a good mood I suspect.
