My personal prediction for the end of season power - TopicsExpress

My personal prediction for the end of season power rankings. #31: Jacksonville Jaguars(4-12) 4th in AFC South, #2 draft pick The Jacksonville Jaguars are no where near being the team they want to be. At QB, Chad Henne will likely be the starter assuming the Jaguars dont want to throw Bortles to the wolves in week one in Philadelphia. At RB, the Jaguars lost MJD to free agency and the starter this year will likely be college standout, Toby Gerhart. Backing him up will be Jordan Todman. At FB, Will Taufoou will be the starter. At WR, Cecil Shorts III and Marqise Lee will be the starters. This is probably their best position on offense, which is kind of sad. Cecil Shorts had 66 receptions, 777 yards, and 3 touchdowns last year. Marqise Lee is the teams 2nd round draft pick this year. Backing them up will be Mike Brown and Allen Robinson. Starting at TE will be Mercedes Lewis, a solid TE. Lewis had 25 receptions, 359 yards, and 4 touchdowns last year. Backing him up will be Clay Harbor. The defense is no where near where it needs to be if they wan to succeed, but its not terrible. At the DE spots, the starters are Red Bryant and Chris Clemons. Bryant is their big free agency pick-up from the Seahawks this off-season. He had 30 combined tackles last year and 1.5 sacks. Clemons is also a free agency pick-up from the Seahawks. He had 24 combined tackles and 4.5 sacks last year. At the DT spots, the starters are Sen Derrick and Roy Miller. Sen Derrick had 34 combined tackles, 2 FFs, and 4 sacks last year. Roy Miller only had 24 combined tackles last year. At the OLB spots, the starters are Geno Hayes and Dekoda Watson. Hayes had 77 combined tackles, 1 FF, 1 sack, and 2 INTs last year. Watson had 42 combined tackles, 2 sacks, 1 FF, and 1 INT last year. At the MLB spot, the starter is Paul Posluszny, one of their top commodities on defense. He had 162 combined tackles, 3 sacks, 1 FF, and 2 INTs last year. At the CB spots, the starters are Dwayne Gratz and Alan Ball. Gratz had 32 combined tackles, 3 pass deflections, and 2 INTs last year. Ball had 47 combined tackles,14 pass deflections, and 2 INTs last year. Backing them up are Will Blackmon and Mike Harris. At the S spots, the starters are Johnathan Cyprien and Winston Guy. Cyprien had 104 combined tackles, 6 pass deflections, 2 FFs, 1 sack, and 1 INT. Guy had 29 combined tackles, 1 pass deflection, 1 sack, and 1 FF. Backing them up are Chris Prosinski and Josh Evans. While the Jaguars do have a lack of talent, they do benefit from being in one of the, if not the worst division in the league. Second place behind Indianapolis is really up for grabs in the AFC South, but I dont see the Jaguars having a good year. I have the Jaguars going 4-12. The Jaguars win week 6 on the road versus the Titans, a win week 7 at home versus Cleveland, a win week 10 at home against the Cowboys, and a win week 16 at home versus the Titans. The jaguars drop the other 12 games. If the Jaguars take advantage of the fact they are in a very soft division, they can climb out of the bottom two and give themselves a decent record. -SteelCurtain
