My poem is called I use to be .. I use to be the girl other girls laughed at for getting played .. The one who would work all day while he was gettin layed . The girl that would defend him when people ran their mouth .. While He use to let other girls in my house . The girl who worked hard to keep him fed .. While he had another girl in my bed . The girl that put him before her own blood , the one who never asked for a thing but loyalty & love. The one who put his needs before her own , while her feelings got thrown around like a bone ! the girl that refused to give up , kept tryin but still wasnt enough . I use to be the girl that let him put me down , the one that cried when no one was around . i use to be the girl that let him control me , the one that was always there but left lonely . The girl that shed all them tears .. the one that put in all them years . i use to be the girl that was ashamed because she knew and did nothing about it ..just wanted love .. Was lost .. But now I found it . i Have my heart & self-esteem again , I finally let go of him . The key words are " use to be " that girl is no longer me . ♥
