My point is, we are directionless, pursuing the materialistic - TopicsExpress

My point is, we are directionless, pursuing the materialistic goals, without any morals, bending and manipulating religion, absolut hypocrites, not sparing a thought for the inevitable death, or anything related to it. Acting like a pigeon who chooses to close his eyes in when the cat approaches him, how can we even think of forgetting death? How can we ignoring it help Us? Is there even an afterlife? If no, why pursue all this if it will and can end pretty soon. If yes, what kind of an afterlife do I deserve? Should I ponder or should I enjoy? I have already spent a third of my life without doing anything substantial. What hope do I have for the remaining? The question isnt if there is a god or not. The question is, what should I be doing? What direction should I go in, if at all? Or is it all pointless?
