My ponderings: I have chosen to no longer identify myself as victim but a survivor and overcomer. In my 47 years of life I have dealt with just about every BAD circumstance one human could possibly imagine and yet I smile. Instead of sitting back and letting the bad things that have happened to me become excuses for not being as rich or smart as someone else, I have chosen to overcome these obstacles and make my life better. So many people have told me that I am an inspiration to them but yet I could not see it. I held myself back because of fear that I was not good enough or as good as others. At this point in my life I have decided to inspire myself. No one else is better than me, they are just better at certain things than I am. We all have a special quality that God bestowed upon us and if mine is to suffer in order to inspire others than so be it. All I know is that I will no longer let my circumstance define who I am. I have just as much potential as anyone else. It may have taken me longer than some to reach my potential but when I do... LOOK OUT WORLD!! I will be a force to be reckoned with! Until then I hope that you all take a moment to reflect on your life and instead of letting the obstacles in life define you, use them to make a new definition of who you are! Be better than your circumstances! Fulfill your dreams because you deserve it!! You are all AWESOME in my book! Be blessed and be a blessing! Much love from my heart to yours! Anita
