My poor little Alyssa has a concussion, with migraine symptoms, ER doc decided to only treat with Advil since everything else seemed fine. She went to school with a note to miss gym she was fine but as soon as she started homework her head started hurting & the pain was worse than yesterday even with meds. After talking to the great on call nurse at CHOP that head ache makes sense. Focus and studying (even screen time) is too much for her brain, she needs rest. I feel so bad that for a second & 1/2 I thought she may have been trying to get out of doing homework and going to school tomorrow. Im hoping she will be better in a few days.
