My prayers go out to a fallen Brother from Baltimore County Fire Department who died today in the Line of Duty. RIP, We have it from here. A Baltimore County firefighter dies after collapsing at a training exercise. According to fire officials, 58-year-old Robert Fogel died of a suspected heart attack while participating in routine training. The chief says Fogel was in a maze using a breathing apparatus when he fell. Every firefighter does the maze training once a year. Fogel was a 27-year veteran of the fire department. He drove a fire engine at the Pikesville station. This is the first time the county has ever had a death at at the Sparrows Point facility. The incident will be considered a “line of duty” death. Fogel is survived by his wife and two children.
