My prediction on the Smash 4 roster. Of course a lot of these characters are simply filler characters in order to fill up the spots, but I put them in because of a variety of reasons from being in someway related to Smash to generating a great deal of talk and discussion. Ill go into detail of why I decided to use said characters. Shulk: I personally have never played Xenoblade (I know, shame on me. Arc Rise Fantasia completely burned me out on JRPGs for the Wii) but with all the talk that Shulk gets and all the praise Xenoblade Chronicle gets as a whole, I think that his chances of getting in arent abysmal. Not to mention that Monolith Soft is releasing X, so Shulk might be a good vantage point to get people who werent interested in the Xeno series to buy the game. Primid: I imagine you guys are wondering who this little guy is. He is one of the creatures that emerge from the spores in the Subspace Emissary. The reason I decided to put him in the roster is because the Smash series loves to reference itself in itself. This is seen in Melee with Past Stages as well as Brawl. Alongside Past Stages, how about we take a past character who wasnt playable in the other game and let people play as him? (Couldnt get Tabuu because of OP aurawave OKHO attack and the fact that hes gigantic.) Do I think hes gonna get in Smash? Nope. Do I need him in Smash? Not really, but he seems as if hed be fun to play. Krystal: Some may be asking Why Krystal? Why not Wolf? Well for one reason. I honestly do not think we should have 3 characters that play similarly.Krystal may be a member of the Star Fox, but when she was first found, she was riding a dragon holding an ancient staff of power, speaking a language that was hard to follow.Using these things, I feel as if Krystal can make a unique character to play as while adding to our lady count in the game. Mewtwo: Oh man. Greninja is still drinking those tears. But honestly, Mewtwo would be a cool character to be re-added to the game. The reason why is because not only did we get X and Y which gave Mewtwo 2 different MEga Evolutions (Meaning he isnt forgotten), there is a new Pokemon game coming out soon and though Mewtwo wont be directly in it, those who havent played X or Y can get a taste of the awesomeness called Mega Evolutions while wielding a Mega Evolved Mewtwo. I picked X over Y because X looks more akin to the original and is also more designed for fighting. Bayonetta: Dont get me wrong, Bayonetta is cool and all, but I cant see her in a E10+ game. This is one of those selections where I needed a character spot to fill. BUT if shes done well enough, Nintendo can slide her through. Snake was able to get in, so Bayonetta should also have a pretty solid chance. As long as we remove Wicked Weave stripping her, then she should be a pretty acceptable character for Smash. Waddle Dee (AKA Bandana Dee): This is one character I really hope gets in (Chances arent looking TOO good, but the fact that Sakurais baby has less characters than Fire Emblem is a ray of hope.) Waddle Dee is a pretty big icon from Kirby games, usually being the first thing you kill, whether on accident or on purpose. Bandana Dee is essentially a Waddle Dee that showed up in quite a few Kirby games, born in 1996 in Kirby Superstar. He has then rose up and is considered a big character of the Kirby series now, being pictured on the 20th Anniversary portrait as well as having multiple appearances in newer games (most prominent being Kirby: Return to Dreamland where he was playable.) Waddle Dee has a chance at a spot not just because hes a cute Kirby character, but because Kirby is most likely getting 4 reps and what better character to fill the last slot. Chorus Men or Marshal: The more I hear of Chorus Men, the more I die inside. BUt the amount of talk that revolves around him makes one curious. RHythm Heaven is a semi-prominent Nintendo game being the first game my sister got for her DS Lite. Though I do not think they will get in, I wouldnt be all to surprised if they did.
