My principal came in with this really fantastic idea about making an anti-bullying music video, and even picked a song. He wanted me to teach them the song in 2 weeks right after the concert, and he wanted the chorus to lead it. I asked him if he had the rights, and permission slips ready so it could be posted on the school website. He looked confused. I then asked him who would be doing the video editing to put it all together. More confusion. And then I told him that choruss last day was today. I proposed that we do this as a beginning of the year PBIS kick-off project. He looked relieved. Sometimes Im really glad Im an over-planner.
