My proud dad moment happened today, (dad & his little boy) All started with a wee motor bike I got for my wee boy Jacob of (4yrs) Like all toys I seem to get for my boys, I buy them to early. This wee dirt bike Has been sitting in the shed for almost a year, looking way to big for him. Mum said he ant ridding that bike till he can pedal his push bike & he is at least four. He only just turned 4 & was ridding his push bike sweet, so I knew the time was near. Mum had gone to net ball, so I took the wee boys down to the local school. Jake rode his pedal bike around the school about a dozen times to get his mojo going, while Liam rode his three wheeler. I unloaded his wee dirt bike. I put him on it & walked next to him holding the bars for about 10 metres & let him go. He was off, cranking lap after lap of the school play grounds. I had wired a cut off remote which I held in my sweaty hand ready to kill the moment, but it never came. He just rode solid for 15 mins with a look on his face of total happyness, with a smile I will never forget. He rode round & round & yells out, look dad I can ride my dirt bike with out falling off, unlike you dad. I laughed with pride. Shit I love those wee guys....
