My rambling for the day :) Forgive me Sometimes I wonder why we do not follow the Sunna when it comes to other matters like wiping ourselves when we go to the privy outside of our dwellings. Are there not enough stones around? Is there not enough open landscapes where one can go to do their duty? Why on earth are we driving cars when horses are praised and camels are excellent, and what of swords and lances? Why are we living with so much comfort and in such ease and where are our tent cities? Caravans are no where to be found. Borders separating dar al-Islam and dar al-kufr are nonexistent. Is it that we are selective in what we impose on ourselves or are we having things imposed upon us from outside of our social sphere? And why are we so enthralled with the merchandise of the Kufr and rarely if ever support Muslim owned businesses? And who among us pays their zakhat on time and gives secretly when people are in need?????? And in closing, how many of us are living Islamic lives away from public scrutiny? No need to answer, since Allah already knows. May Allah forgive us all.. May Allah bless us all..
