My research report entitled "Human Security Challenges in Lesotho" (unpublished) clearly indicates that there is now, what has been said by Dunn, an alternative approach to the study of of world order which can claim to be realistic in stressing the new problems and processes of security in an ecologically whole interdependent system of human behaviour. It is precisely this approach which is described by international relations scholars as the nel thinking on security (human security). A human security focus is on the wellbeing and safety of persons which are mainly rooted in favourable socio-economic and political conditions. Human security represents the degree to which human beings are saved from constant threats of hunger, persecution etc, and has always been the dominant concept in strategic discourse. I compiled a research report of this magnitude in Lesotho, however, subsequent to that, the manifestations in jelousy coupled with victimization took shape, and could not be extinguished in a very short period of time.
