My response to Governor Peter Shumlin who sent me an email about the Federal Shutdown. I understand that people will be without pay, but to tax a burdened tax payer like my self more than I am is also unjust. Especially to support socialist ideas that every person deserves the same as the next when they do not work for what is earned. I think it is time to back off some off the socialist programs and tune back the government to point in which it can support its self without a heavy burden to each tax payer or other countries to pay its debt. I understand that society must support its elderly, disabled and local police and rescue. As a person of business such as your self who has recently traveled to South America and Asia in support of bringing foreign investors, who is going to invest into a program that continues to have to borrow money to make ends meet? Meaning running in the RED and never getting ahead.
