My response to this site concerned about the Exxon Valdez clear up of its oil cargo. https://mail.google/mail/u/0/?tab=wm#inbox/144f57e01990c9f0 An even greater risk to life is the massive LNG Super-Tankers plying the seas that have never been tested in a large collision and sinking disaster. The massive Q Max tankers carrying 250,000 cu m of LNG, have the potential of 40 Hiroshima Nuclear bombs that would also remove al the oxygen from the sea surface upwards to several thousand metres with a highly toxic cloud largely containing carbon monoxide. This could tale over 30 minutes to be replenished depending on prevailing metrological and wind conditions. So the plan seems to keep fingers crossed and act surprised if such a disaster happened that I consider somewhat irresponsible.
