My second gig ever circa 1977? My first power trio with Glen Gore and Jim Gaines...Thunder Road rocks the Evansville North High School Christmas Mixer Glen and I carried on and eventually joined forces with Matt Clark, Mark Sanderson, Randy Dunn and Dan DeShields to form the Taylor Bay Band. Once Mark left the group, Lita Xia Tikal joined soon inviting friend Paula Pierce to round out the vocal sound of the group. We recorded one LP and a 6 song demo that nearly scored us a record deal in the early 80s. Im immensely proud of my time with these talented individuals and they were all great friends as well as heroes to me at that young age (I was at least 4 years younger than everyone else in the group).
