My senior year of high school, the POD teacher told us that the United States would never be attacked on our own land. The military would see anyone coming over either ocean, and our relationship with Mexico and Canada would prevent another country from using their airspace. As I sat at my desk on September 11, 2001 trying to log onto the internet and trying to email my cousin who I believed worked near the Pentagon, and trying to wrap my head around what was going on all i could think was "they found a work around Mr. C., they found a work around" #willneverforget
