My sentiments, well put! I almost got stripped & killed in Mombasa 2016 while trying to get to Fort Jesus with my bro. I had on a skort (shorts inside a skirt) and a tank top, it wss super hot. Both men & women were hurling insults at me from across the road and had started throwing stones at me! it was in deep Swahili so we were clueless to their insults & curses. In the nick of time, a cab pulled up and we jumped right in & sped off as the massive crowd yelling huyo huyo threw stones at the cab. Ill never forget the terror I experienced, i still quiver at what could have happened. The tourists walking around in shorter clothes than mine were not bothered. I pray this venom dies in our societies and I pray for peace for any lady that has been tormented by these idle rouges. #MyDressMyChoice
