My sister, Rebecca, had an allergic reaction to a prescribed medication in December, 2013. This reaction lead to a condition called Stevens-Johnson Syndrome. She spent 5 days in the hospital including 2 days in ICU. She is still having symptoms 7 months later and has flares from simple OTC medications. We are fortunate that she went to ER and the doctors recognized this condition and treated her. We are spreading the word about this rare and little know syndrome. Please know your body, and be aware of ANY changes you see or feel after taking any medications including OTC and homeopathic treatments.
