My sister asked me to send her my cut-out /sugar cookie recipe so I thought I would post for everyone. These are the soft cookies not the hard ones, for cut out cookies just roll out and cut. For sugar cookies I just roll in a ball and flatten with the bottom of a glass dipped in sugar. Thumbprint same but put your favorite jelly in the center. 1 cup butter 1 cup sugar 2 eggs 1/2 tsp. vanilla 3 1/2 cup flour 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt Bake at 350 until golden brown on bottom This recipe is easy to double which I have to do at my house.
